I am from Ludhiana, Punjab. I love a guy a lot but the problem is that our parents will never allow an
inter-caste marriage. We can neither live without each other nor take any wrong step against our
parents. Please help us. It’s my humble request.

I have been waiting for my parents to call me since the past three years. I can’t explain to you in words
how much my parents’ disapproval of my relationship has affected me. I love my parents and can’t wait
to see them again. I live in US with my husband. We are happy together. I’m just waiting for my family
to accept our relationship.

I belong to a Marwari family and I did a court wedding with my South Indian boyfriend a few months
ago. My parents have been asking me to divorce him and marry a Marwari guy even if he is divorced or
not stable financially. Why should I be asked to compromise with my life like this for the so-called
society?

My girlfriend and I both work in government offices in Delhi. Her parents are forcing her to quit her job
and move back with them since they came to know that she’s in love with an OBC category guy. We need
help.

My parents are not ready to accept my partner. They don’t know that I already married him last year. He
is a government servant and has a good position but even then, they are saying no. I am so afraid. I
cannot live without him.

Main Gwalior mein rehti hoon. Mere shaadi ko teen saal ho gaye hai. Phir bhi mere husband ke parents
mujhe accept nahi kar rahe kyunki main neechi jaati ki hoon. Main Chamar hoon aur woh log Rajput
hai. Gusse mein aakar mere sasurji ne ek baar zeher kha liya. Unhe gussa iss baat par aaya ki mere pati
ne kaha woh mujhe divorce nahi denge.

I am a 24-year-old Muslim guy. I am currently working in a software company in Bangalore. I love a girl
who is Hindu by religion. We both want to get married by our own will. Her father is a very powerful
man in terms of money and political standing. He has oppressed her for the last two years by locking her
in his house and doing physical harassment. He has snatched her freedom of life. She tried to consult
with the police but they are not helping at all. She tried to commit suicide once. We can’t live without
each other.
