I am pursuing my BTech degree and am 20 years old. My father is a building
contractor and my mother is a teacher. When I was 10 years old, the father of my
best friend called me and took me to his house when there was no one at mine.
When we were talking, he suddenly forced me for some dirtiness and then he raped
me. Three or four days later, he found me alone again and raped me again. That was
a time when I lived a very fearful life.
But as time passed, I became strong and am now living a normal life. I have been
in a relationship for 3 years. My girlfriend knows about my past and loves me a lot.
Now my life is full of joy but sometimes that darkness of my past overshadows my
joy. I watched your show and decided that I will be even stronger now.

I am a doctor and I am 29 years old and am married. I was sexually abused by my
dad’s real brother when I was just 5 or 6 years old. I didn’t even know what he was
doing.
Till today, I have been unable to share the story of my abuse with anyone. He did
nasty things to me and even today it haunts me. He used to insert a cloth in my
mouth so that I couldn’t shout. I didn’t tell my parents about it since I thought they
would shout at me. I just wanted to share my abuse story today. I don’t know how
to forget this thing that disturbs me till today.

W e at times are so ignorant about our surroundings and believe that all are
nice people. Your episode reminded me so much of a similar incident in my
neighbourhood, which had occurred with my dear friend during our school days. I
was in tears while watching the episode.
