The fifth phase of elections was completed on April 17. Voting in the sixth phase happens on April 24. The percentage of people coming out to vote has been heartening and encouraging with the voter turnout exceeding numbers seen in 2009. But what is worrying is the presence of candidates facing criminal cases in almost every party. This report by the Association for Democratic Reforms shows the full extent of the problem
