Where do children play?
If there is one abiding memory most people have of their childhood, it is that of playing with their friends. Spontaneous, mostly unstructured games, without the trappings of the right gear, a coach or a competition looming ahead - a spirit that has virtually disappeared along with the vanishing playgrounds in India's cities.
Here are glimpses of children who are determined to hold on to some of that joy, undeterred by gradually diminishing open spaces.
