Pani Foundation

We are delighted to share with you that the core team of Satyamev Jayate is now working towards creating a drought-free Maharashtra through Paani Foundation, a not-for-profit company set up by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao in early 2016. Paani Foundation's CEO is Satyajit Bhatkal (director of Satyamev Jayate) and its COO is Reena Datta.

Paani Foundation believes that the solution to our water crisis lies in decentralised watershed management and rainwater harvesting. We aim to motivate, train and empower people for this purpose. Our immediate mission is to make Maharashtra drought-free and we believe this can only be achieved when students, farmers, working professionals, industrialists.... in a word, millions of people from different walks of life join this movement. We invite you to be a part of this journey.
