I live in the UK and have three kids—two girls and one boy. My girls are my
husband’s and my life. We adore them both and thank God for giving them to us.
My greatest fear is that someone could harm them.

I was 5 years old and both my parents worked the night shift. We used to have a
babysitter who was also our neighbour. She was very nice. One day, when she was
not able to babysit, my mother asked her brother if he would do so. That night, he
was in bed with us and he raped me. I remember him trying to force himself on me
several times that night. I was literally sick to my stomach.

He ruined my childhood. I was never able to trust any other male. I have only
shared this with my husband and no one else. My parents have no idea as well.
His family moved away from our house and he came to see us again when I was
15 years old. He told my mother he really wanted to see me. I was not feeling well
and was sleeping in my room. My mother asked me if I wanted to meet him and I
said no.

After watching your episode, I want to tell him that what he did to me was awful. I
want him to realise the harm he did to my childhood and to most of my adolescence.
