Since that day, I have been unable to regain my conidence. I have always been a
bright student and I have an engineering degree but now after my wedding, I am
just a housewife. I am like a useless, helpless girl who can’t ight for her rights. My
husband holds my hand and supports me fully. He is my only hope to be able to
cope with all this and come out of it.

I am a 19-year-old girl. I was also sexually abused by my home tutor and my uncle!

I was shocked that my father’s sister’s husband did this to me. I tried sharing this
with my mom but she didn’t respond.

and we have a better life together. It has taken me 24 years to tell this to someone.

I am a 26-year-old woman. As a child, I was sexually abused by my aunt’s husband

and I told my mother about it when I was 14. It has crippled my mind, heart and
soul. I still have a problem in interacting with the other gender. I am a teacher and I
am proud that I can listen to my students’ problems and solve them. I know I have
done no wrong but I am restless sometimes. I am sure that I will get over this soon.
