I am 31 years old and have also been a victim of child abuse. I have never shared
this with anyone before other than my hubby. I was abused several times by my
tuition teacher’s husband. He used to squeeze and touch me and other kids. I was
just 7 years old and the others were even younger than me. I knew his intentions and
used to keep distance from him. I couldn’t share this with my parents and always
asked them to change my tuition classes but I couldn’t succeed in that.
One day, when my teacher went out and I was left alone with him, he started abusing
me, dragging me on his bed and tried kissing me. He forcibly smooched me and
was almost trying to rape me. I kicked him and told him I would scream and escape.
I went home and was completely disturbed. I told my mom that I am not going to
those tuitions again. I knew that nobody would believe me so I told her that the
teacher wasn’t teaching properly.
While watching your show, I had tears in my eyes because it was just a lashback
of my past. Of course it left an impact on my life for a long time. Unfortunately,
nobody realised the change in my behaviour and despite leaving those tuitions, I
had to see this man each and every day because he was also my neighbour. This
incident had already ruined my childhood but there was more to come.
During my summer holidays, I went to stay at my aunt’s place. One afternoon, I was
playing with my cousin who was just 3 years old. My aunt’s 75-year-old neighbour
called us saying he had some pet birds. As kids, we were excited to see the birds.
He closed the door and removed his clothes. I was very scared. More than myself,
I was worried about my cousin.
The only thing on my mind was to escape from there with my little sister. He asked
me to give him a blow job. I was just 7 years old but because of what had happened
to me previously, I was aware of what he was trying to do. I wanted to protect my
cousin and so I warned him that if he didn’t allow us to go, I would scream.
Once again, I couldn’t speak about this to anyone but I started hating all men. After
this, I never went to stay at anybody’s place. I am sure this old man must have
